Overlook some of the reviews when deciding to purchase, because the literature clearly shows that it is a portable thermal printer.To be clear, I was aware of what I was buying. Please be sure you understand you are purchasing a black and white Thermal printer, an extremely better version of a receipt printer. This is not a color printer and no you will not need to buy ink cartridges. Again, you are buying a Thermal Printer.This thermal printer is better than some similar options because it does not require the use of a thermal trace paper ribbon along with the thermal paper to print. You will have to use Thermal Paper, and No you cannot use regular paper. Another benefit to this printer is that you can buy different-width paper rolls to print different-sized papers, such as 8.5“X 11”, A4, 4,33”, 3.14”, and 2.08'' width thermal paper. The best thing is the battery size because this unit comes with a 2600mAh capacity battery. where others have a 1500mAh capacity battery standard.In one of the pictures, I placed a sheet of 8.5" x 11" inch paper to see if the claims were correct, and the paper size is dead on and you will be able to print an 8.5" x 11" inch thermal paper and not have to worry is the paper size correct. I bought this printer to be used as a tool, and this is where the lower price and quality allowed me to afford to have what other companies sell for higher prices but allowed me to do it on a budget.The only thing that is missing is a case and this will be the next thing I will try and order, so I do not damage the printer while traveling.Overall, it is a great overall travel office product.

Works great! Very quiet and easy to setup with the Phomemo app. Prints quickly and quality is great on both included and separately purchased paper. Charge lasts a long time and it connected easily to my device. I also bought the case for the Phomemo 382/384 and it fits perfectly as expected. It’s a little heavy but Is perfectly portable especially with the case which also holds extra paper and the charging cord. 100% happy with this item!

Unit quickly and easily connected to Bluetooth. Printing PDF from the app was simple. One button operation to power up. USB C charging makes it easy to carry and connect to PC for charging if needed.Print speed is like a fax machine. There are 3 densities that affect speed. Medium is a good balance between speed and quality.Unit is solid built and closes firmly.Unit comes with a sleeve to protect the unit.The perforation teeth could be smaller to allow for a cleaner tear when using the rolls of paper. But overall it still gets the job done.Can easily be kept in the work truck glove box or carried in a backpack.If you use other phomemo printers, you'll need a separate app for this printer which is annoying. I would have expected to have 1 app for all their printers.Overall if you need to print on the go and don't want to worry about ink or needing Wi-Fi, this is the solution!Installing the driver for USB on Windows didn't work for me. Installer keeps throwing errors.Power button can be difficult to press.

I travel between two homes four times a year. Thanks to this little printer, I now have a viable option for printing on the road.This is a thermal printer which requires a special paper roll to print onto. Due to this, your printed results will have a tendency to roll up and not lay flat like sheet paper does. The print quality is good and I appreciated its ease of setup, particularly the quick iPhone connection process. I am able to print equally well from both my iPhone and my MacBook Air. This printer is very compact and portable, while also sturdy. This is truly an excellent option for being able to perform limited printing on the road.

I was so excited to get this so I could print out my school work while at work since I work out of my car but was instantly disappointed when I used it because it cuts off before the page is finished printing. And it's not just a few sentences, it's whole paragraphs.

The convenience of a printer but in travel size. Ink is great! Paper works well and this is worth every penny. Super easy setup. Super easy app. Never owned a printer but so glad I bought this one

Excellent. Would buy again. Only problem is the printer paper rolls up as it prints. But im able to print invoices anywhere. Does not print color. Its thermal.
