Nice product but don't recommend using it with a child that is under 4 or 4-1/2.

My 3 year old loves this! Keeps him entertained for hours.

I like to keep toys and activity playsets around for my youngest family visitors to keep them busy. This wooden tool set is a nice addition to my collection.The wooden box is very smooth with no splinters to hurt young ones. The decorations on the tools are cute, the colors are bright. The threads are precision cut and attach with age appropriate dexterity. I think this tool box will be good for hand/eye coordination and spatial awareness. The instruction (build) cards are easy to follow and will aid in instilling confidence when the project is completed. Now, getting everything back in the box while the parts are still in bags was a bit of a challenge. Guess I need to work on my hand/eye coordination and spatial awareness. (I want the first kid to use it to open it up and unwrap the parts)

Im stil amazed at the product quality and how much you get for so little. My one mistake is only getting one with my twin 4 year olds who immediately faught over this (another on the way). It pretty neat that the tool box is the fastening platform once you dump out all the tool bits which was inevitable with my kids. Many days later and this remains their favorite thing to play with....

The photos of the items you can make in the pamplet are deceiving. This kit is ok, but not great. My 3 year old does like it since his dad often uses tools and he wants to be handy like me.
