Q: How can I pull out the bar if the mold is super hard,? I

It has never been an issue with me. Tip it over and the bar just falls out. Seriously. Maybe tap it gently. As long as I wait until the chocolate hardens, the chocolate just doesn't seem to stick. Other people might have other experiences, but I've never had an issue.

Q: Can this be used for wax melts?

Sure! But they are pretty shallow molds. Not sure the size you wanted to make.
