Ok, so im 60 now and just had braces put on my top teeth. I had an idea of the rubbing and irritation that they could cause, but nothing prepared me for the feeling of chewing on barbed wire! On both sides of back brackets, there are hooks and clipped ends of wire. Because of how it is positioned, there is no way to change it and it rubbed the insides of my cheeks raw. I'm talking half inch lacerations. I was thinking I could tough it out, but the orthodontic wax they hand out is so crumbly and it doesn't stay put. As soon as I got it where I wanted it, it would shift and the pain came searing back. My face even swelled because of the constant rubbing. Well, I read a post and someone suggested wax ear plugs. I was desperate! I ordered these from Amazon and I was completely sold. These plugs are soft, pliable and stay where you put them. It's so smooth that there is absolutely no irritation, no pain, and the lacerations healed in 2 days. I loved it so much, I bought 3 more packs to make sure I have some with me at all times. This beats ortho wax by miles. It's been a gamechanger especially since I have 24 months of braces to endure!!

Very happy with these plugs. They aren't noice canceling by any means but they mask the small sounds from spouse and dog that kept me continually waking up. The foam style never fit in my ears well and constantly fell out and got lost. These stay put and there are so many in the pack that I won't need to repurchase or many months, maybe longer. Read the directions, though. You do not stick the wax into your ear canal. It sits on the outside edge. I like that better than the foam inserts anyway.

I like that I can customize the size. I previously bought the yellow, PQ “small ears” plugs and they might be slightly better? The educational “how to use” videos make a difference. Love the PQ products! Thanks!

I’ve been wearing ear plugs to bed for the past 3 years and I wish I discovered these earlier. The regular ear plugs always fall out because of the way my ear canal is shaped, but these never fall out due to the waxy material! Would definitely recommend!

These are great! They mold into your ears and cutoff all sound. I live by a major freeway and needed something better than my noise machine. I sleep so much better now. I usually don’t like putting things in my ears because they are so small, so I cut one of the plugs in half and squish them in. I found if I use one whole one then they get stuck in my hair. Just be careful though because they mold so well they can be hard to get out in the morning.

I have flown more than 1 million miles sleeping with these in my ears. They keep the noise out so I can sleep.

They fit pretty good, but they don't block out sound as well as I hoped they would. I can have them in and still hear everything going on but just a little muffled. I need to block out as much sound as possible because I sleep like a bat lol I went from using Macks earplugs to these for something a little cheaper in bulk but once I go through these I wouldnt buy again.

These things actually do work so good! I dropped a star bc why would you sell a pack of 15 when the majority of the population has 2 ears.
