I am a new parent to gymnastics, and had no idea what I was purchasing when my child asked for these. The first that I bought was cheaper and I didn’t know what I was buying. Her coach said these are the only ones she suggests, and I can understand why the quality is much thicker and design and functionality appear to be top level equipment. I was told to use a pair of scissors too slowly scrape away the holes until they fit my daughters fingers. I don’t think you need to buy the file suggested. These allow you to fit them to the athlete.

My daughter was using another brand of grips and she was unhappy with the leather. We switched to Gibson and she absolutely loves them. They feel much better to her than her old grips and they get delivered super fast, most times the very next day. Great product that we will continue to order.

I love this grips they work so well

We have purchased 2 pairs of these grips on Amazon and each time there is one “bad” grip where the leather is completely stretched and has no shape making the grips unusable. These were my daughter’s back-up grips so she didn’t get them into use until long after the return window had closed. We have been using Gibson grips for many years. Disappointed, waste of money.

The media could not be loaded. It's comfortable and good quality I would recommend it but the 1 thing is that they shed kind of little like it just gets all over And it does make a little mess Recommended andit's good It doesn't hurt you or anything

There were the grips that were recommended by my daughter’s coach and they are holding up nicely. The finger holes seemed oddly small at first but they do wear out some to fit better once they’re being used.

I use them every day, they are very helpful with gymnastics

My daughter was super excited to get her first pair of dowel grips. She's used palm grips initially and her coach suggested these grips. The narrow palm is good for transitioning because her hand can have more contact with the bar but will still have protection against rips.I measured from the base of her palm to the tip of her middle finger to determine the correct size. The Med fits her perfectly since she measured 6.5 inches.The grips needed to be broken in and the finger holes had to be adjusted. But that's typical with grips to get the right fit.She's very happy and couldn't wait to start using them!
