Great paid 28 but exposure to 380 so motor replacement easy
Great truck I run traxxas team associated axial Arrma and ecx its not traxxas but it is not less surprising than it was on here for years I thought awe toys no good now the had clearance 2 years prices were 10th scale 200 ish 160 usually brushed models 1/16 120 and 1/20 89 and I got the 16th 2 for 28 each yeah almost bought 5 but I thought I could try then buy and nope all gone but brushless 16th in a 2 day period they got 3 more I saw a week later I got another they handle as well if not better than traxxas tq remote the 120 as well I got one of those with the blue hood yellow aqua man fork on it looks awesome deal was great the 20 does about 15 to 20 mph and one downfall shocks are only coil over fake oil filled shocks but moved with smooth ease and easy to put 16 dollars in a set of 4 star oil filled the 16th as well the tenth has headlamp and tail lights bright very all 3 have working foglights but the tenth is oil filled 6 shocks work well does a honest 30 as advertised and my only complaint is it is to easy to Hitt reverse double braking not even full strokes but has great steel driveshafts all 3 models 4 wheel drive and the tenth on clearance has 4 shocks in rear but they also all use deans plug better than traxxas design but yeah great trucks I wish now so much I got the 16th brushless 160 down to 70 all gone sonic triton and the tenth is same as legendary purple white black yellow and blue yellow white both beautiful both 169 I paid 56 each got 2 10th scales and paid 16 for a blue yellow white body I looked em over all 3 are the exact same designs 2 at 170 one black yellow red 56 gone now but the 20th scale are set 2 38 now and hosim or haiboxing is selling the exact truck 2 body's for 89 or 99 I realize that's the reason there trying to get 1 brand but so many from same factory different brands and prices just pay attention to detail realize there's only so many factorys and I work at one making cheese for pizza for like 5 companies pizza hut Dominos papa both lols so my poor typos im basically said that legendary rc is having an actual clearance event in 3 designs and scales starting with the most prominent 10th scale Legendary Legend is what I refer to it as its not the same as the real Legend model but it is a good quality rc truck at 56 dollars for everything needed to operate it and it slides on asphalt well in a 180 degree swing no rollover issues! The 16th scale is 28 dollars and I've had a few of these trucks awhile and there durable and easy to fix there performance is as good as the other 16th scale rc trucks that are not top of the line brands but are great for the price! And I honestly think out of all the budget models in 16th scale rc truck non brushless there one of the best overall quality and functional! The 20th scale are 38 great price and is awesome im not much of a mini rc gut but these on smooth asphalt are fast enough to outrun a man and do 15 plus mph doesn't seem fast try it you won't regret buying it for 100 or less it's a decent car bezgar has one equal and identical to it as well it'd not a indoor rc cars to fast but has a good little transmitter and all transmitters of the 3 work fine with any model so little boy can get a 20th scale rc remote and drive the 10th scale truck for people who are not near smooth enough surface not that you can't off road with them you can always run them wherever I just meant you want the most capable rc truck in your budget legendary won't let you down gently they slam through the issues theoretically and physically!! No im not being paid to say this or compensation in any way other than the quality the 2 year old set of legendary trucks I've had only needed new motors after miles and miles of fun and I replaced them easily!

I wish I had something like this at my kids age!
The media could not be loaded. For Christmas this year I decided as a way to get outside with the kids more, I would buy them both RC cars and ask my wife for one that I could use with them. First thing first, if you are buying a car for your kid, you really need to buy a 4 wheel drive. We all have seen the disappointment in kids faces when you get them a new truck because it looks really cool only to have it bog down and barely move the moment is touches even regular grass in your front yard. :-/ So this year I decided to do just that. Unfortunately the trucks I bought them turned out to be garbage and I was fooled by the hundreds of fake 5 star reviews. Talk about a Christmas disappointment :( On the bright side, the truck my wife bought me was from this company! She bought me their 1:10 scale Legend 4x4 truck with turned out to be awesome, but maybe a little too fast for my 5 and 7 yr old kids. Thats when I found this Triton 4x4 model from the same company. I bought 2!The first thing that sold me on this truck, other than the fact the company had already proven itself with my truck, was that you can buy all the parts you need from their website instead of junking the car when the inevitable happens with children's rough playing. So far nothing has happened! These things are fast, but not too fast for a small child, as an adult I would have fun with these little trucks! Speaking of size, the Triton model is a 1:20 scale car which means they are roughly half the size of my Legend truck and I assume smaller than what you are used to when you think of a RC car, so don't be disappointed by the size when you open the box. My first thought when seeing them for the first time was that they are the cutest little monster trucks I have ever seen, but these things can play is any condition my big truck can! The 4 wheel drive and power makes it happen! The size of these are great for little hands too, I can't imagine my kids trying to carry around a normal size 4x4. They have working headlights and come with two battery packs which can be connected together to double the play time. The remote has a speed control on it, for most of my video the cars were set on the lower side of those controls which you can see if good enough for most kids and leaving it lower gets us about 20-25mins per battery. They charge quite fast and are Lithium Ion so they just go and go without slowing down right until the point the battery is dead.My kids, 5yr old girl / 7yr old boy, had never once in their life used the pistol grip style transmitter that these trucks come with and they both picked it up immediately. They did all the driving in my video.Even though you have to remove the 4 body clips to get to the battery compartment (not that difficult) The power button is on the side of the truck for easy access.Multiple of the same trucks can be used at the same time without interference. Turn on one truck and transmitter at a time and they will stay synced to that truck while you play. The body is made of a thin plastic, but it's very forgiving and takes a beating without breaking. If it gets too scratched up for you, just order a new body from the website. It's crazy how well these can maneuver over most terrain. The only think that would stop it would be to get wedged on something that was too tall for the ground clearance or getting flipped over! I honestly can't believe these trucks were only about $30 more than the terrible garbage I got suckered into buying for them the first time, they could literally run circles around those other trucks. They look like angry little bees racing around together, it's quite funny!

Good so far, more fun than a "toy"
I bought this for $100 as my first "hobby grade" RC car because I definitely wasn't ready to sink $300 into the highly-recommended Traxxas or Arrma models. I got this partly for my kids (8 & 5) and partly for myself (adult). The Laegendary "Legend" has been good after 5-6 outings. It does roll through dormant winter grass at a good clip, but I'm skeptical it will do as well in summer once the grass is 3" deep. It is most fun on open dirt or pea gravel, though, doing power slides, hops through ruts, and spinning donuts. Catching air looks great, but can quickly lead to wipeouts, so it's up to you what risk you tolerate.Nothing has broken (yet) after a few full speed crashes, so I can't comment on replacing parts. The body pins it ships with were tiny and lost quickly, but a pack of 100 I purchased have been sturdier. Beware, once the adaptor for 2 batteries is added to the plug, I cannot find a way to actually fit two batteries into the compartment and plug them both in. It's great to have 2 batteries included, but don't expect them to both fit, you'll just have to swap 1 out when the the first one dies. Battery life has been better than expected, I get about 30 minutes from 1, maybe because I spend more time in low speed. The battery takes over 2 hours to fully charge, so don't expect quick turnaround once they die.Overall, good! I'll call it great if it continues to run stock without breaking parts. I have no idea what the $200 extra gets you with better name brands, but I'm happy in my ignorance so far. This is way cooler than anything off the Walmart shelf, definitely worth paying $100 for this instead of $50 for a "toy" RC car.
